The 25th�edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment for the Textile and Garment,�INLEGMASH 2026, took place from 16 through 19 March 2026 within Russian Week of Textile Industry. Russia. This year, the show changed its venue with a successful debut in Timiryazev Centre, Moscow.

INLEGMASH celebrated 56 years since its launch and once again confirmed its status as a key professional platform for Russia and the CIS countries.

Show highlights

INLEGMASH 2026 occupied�7,400 square metres.

The show welcomed�123+�exhibitors�from�8�countries:�Russia, China, Denmark, Germany, India, South Korea, Spain, and Turkiye. They demonstrated equipment for processing chemical fibers, spinning, weaving, finishing, textile printing, production of technical textiles and nonwovens, sewing equipment, fabric cutting, wet heat treatment, knitting production, as well as dyes and auxiliary substances, software, CAD, accounting software, spare parts, and accessories.

The exhibitors included�64 Russian companies, key players of the textile equipment market, including CBP-Service, Textile and Technology, Smart-T, Importmash, TL Tex, Technoprint, DapRu, Lasercut, Great Tex, Mirex, Texmax, Bagtex, Pletmash, Velles PFK, NISSA Distribution, Linar-M, Shveyavtomatika, MATEK, Professional Sewing Equipment, Papillons TH, SportTex, Tristar Engineering, Printex, LRT, Azbuka Vyazaniya, Comtense Trading, PromExpert, Svetoch, etc.

Forty-five companies�took part in the show for the first time:

Gramos showcased advanced high-tech equipment for the manufacture and repair of shoes, bags, and sewing and leather production.
ZipKit Technologies demonstrated a Smart cutting machine from GBOS, the world�s most productive and high-precision cutting complex.
Innteri is the exclusive distributor in Russia of the Dlican brand of a manufacturer of printing equipment Shenzhen Dlican Digital Technology Co., Ltd, and an official dealer of Kolmar printers (China).
Textileoptom (the Russian brand Valtery) presented automatic sewing lines for sewing sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, towels and curtains manufactured by Zhongxin (China). All the equipment is fully adapted for use in Russia.
There were several companies from Turkiye: Bi�aksan Makina Takim Sanayi Ticaret Limited �irketi (industrial blades and consumables for automated cutting (textiles and clothing); Enhas Makina Sanayi Ve Ticaret LTD. STI. (a manufacturer of spare parts for clutch and braking systems used in looms); TUFEKCI Makine San. Ve Tic. A.S. (electrical and automated solutions, including solutions for air conditioning); and West Global Makina TIC. A.S. (high-performance, efficient, long-lasting equipment for dyeing and finishing fabrics, designed in accordance with international production standards).
The Indian market was represented by Indian Chemical Industries (production of dyes, pigment preparations for textile printing and preparations for pigment dyeing); Krossmark Innovations (the world\'s leading manufacturer of rotary printing machines and equipment); the show�s regular exhibitor Mechano (India) UH (an exporter of textile machinery, spare parts and accessories); Taskar Engineering (equipment for production of technical textiles); Jogindra Industries PVT. LTD (a full range of equipment for dyeing all types of yarns, fibers, ribbons, zippers and other products, including vertical, horizontal, tube dyeing machines and machines for washing, drying, and stabilization); Mechano India (R.A) (a manufacturer of textile machinery, spare parts and accessories for weaving, spinning, and processing machines); and Stalmec Engineering PVT. LTD (a manufacturer of rotary screen printing machinery under the Laxmi brand).

INLEGMASH 2026 once again confirmed the show�s status of a key event for the entire textile and garment industry of Russia and the CIS.

The exhibitors actively worked with clients, concluded deals, and signed partnership agreements. Many participating companies were able to find new customers and distributors right during the exhibition. It is especially pleasing to note that more than 90% of the participants presented their equipment in operation. There was every opportunity to explore new products, assess the market situation, and follow the development of the industry. The display area was structured according to specialised sectors to make every visit to the show more convenient.

The most striking technological innovations of the year included:

Ultrasonic welding: SportTex introduced the USM450S machine for threadless joining of synthetics.

Modular cutting: a revolutionary complex from Mozes Inc. that allows increasing capacity as a business grows.

Energy efficiency: the MST-920 direct-drive pneumatic air jet loom from Jiangyin Most International Trading Co., Ltd with increased safety margin and intelligent control that minimizes energy costs.

The future today: the layout of a Smart Factory, presented at the PromExpert stand, showed a Jack suspension system in conjunction with an automated T-shirt sewing line from the BMA brand. The display demonstrated how a complete production cycle is built in a modern enterprise, from a warehouse and cutting to packaging of finished products.

Conference programme

The programme�s central event was the 6th�edition of the INLEGMASH International Conference.

The opening session was moderated by Tatiana Belkevich, President at the Russian Association of Fashion Industry Participants (RAFI), who noted that the industry was going through one of the most difficult and critical stages of restructuring logistics and competencies. Evgenia Egorova, Deputy Head at the Regional Development Directorate of the SME Corporation, reported that almost 300,000 SMEs were working in the Russian textile and garment industry at the beginning of 2026, which accounted for 3.5% of the total register of the Federal Tax Service. Maxim Chapov, Director of Export Support for Construction Materials, Textile Industry and Consumer Goods at the Russian Export Center, highlighted the priority markets: the CIS countries (Belarus and Kazakhstan), as well as the active opening of the markets of Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

The participants of the conference programme discussed the most pressing tasks facing all industry, including maintaining profitability, finding reliable partners, and scaling businesses in unstable conditions. The experts presented key recommendations for effective management of textile and garment enterprises.

The leading experts also discussed not only the current situation and problematic points of the industry, but also paid special attention to promising sewing technologies and issues of automation and digitalization of production, the specifics of working under the contract production scheme in Russia, considered relevant aspects of digital textile printing and the textile market, as well as labeling and certification, personnel issues, etc.

Throughout the three days, the experts discussed those topics that directly affect the effectiveness of factories and brands today, from equipment to strategic decisions.

INLEGMASH 2026, in its anniversary year, confirmed the status of the industry�s main trade show that brings together business and research. The event not only presented equipment, but also set the vector of development: a course towards automation, the introduction of AI, and the expansion of international relations in the new geo-economic reality.

Following the results of the four days of work, the participants spoke about high commercial efficiency of the show as the exhibited equipment was booked or sold at many stands right during the show.

The current state of the textile industry to be discussed at the INLEGMASH conference

The�INLEGMASH�International Industry Conference featured its Opening Session on the Current Situation in the Industry: Trends, Development Prospects, Growth Points.

The session is devoted to the current state of the textile and garment industry in Russia, its key market trends, structural changes, and new growth points. The participating experts discussed the prospects for the industry’s development, the impact of import substitution and localization of production, as well as current government support measures for brands and manufacturers.

The event was moderated by�Tatiana Belkevich, President at the Russian Association of Fashion Industry Participants (RAFI).

“Today, the industry is going through one of the most difficult and at the same time crucial stages in recent decades,” said Tatiana Belkevich. “After drastic changes in logistics, structure, imports and the consumer market, the Russian textile industry found itself in accelerated restructuring. The industry’s enterprises are rebuilding their supply chains of raw materials and equipment, more actively developing their own technological competencies, and looking for new sales markets. The most important question is what awaits the Russian textile industry this year, and what are its prospects.”

Evgenia Egorova, Deputy Head at the Regional Development Directorate of the SME Corporation, said that as of January 1, 2026, almost 300,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in the textile industry operate in Russia. This is only 3.5% of the total number of SMEs according to the registry of the Federal Tax Service. Most of the enterprises are registered in Moscow, the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, the Sverdlovsk Region, and the Ivanovo Region.

“You can find all measures to support SMEs on our digital platform. We will be happy to tell any company, if it contacts us, how to combine these support measures, and how to contact the regional infrastructure offices in order to make their projects more successful and find new partners," said Evgenia Egorova.

Maxim Chapov, Director of Export Support for Construction Materials, Textile Industry and Consumer Goods at the Russian Export Center, stressed that the most priority export markets today are the markets of the CIS countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan,

“Now companies are trying to enter the markets of other countries as well,” said Maxim Chapov. “First of all, we are exploring the countries of Southeast Asia and trying to present our Russian products there. We pay great attention to the countries of the Middle East. The countries of Latin America and the African continent are more labuor-intensive and more difficult for textile industry enterprises, but we are trying to reach these regions as well.”

Olga Malkova, Head at the Assembly for National and International Business Development, explained how to legally reduce taxes by 45%.

Oksana Shashkova, General Director at the Right People marketing agency, and�Alyona Kiselyova, Head of Investment Attraction at the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation, also spoke at the opening session.

Within the three-day INLEGMASH conference, there will be many events where experts will discuss government support measures, issues of labeling, environmental charges, certification, the best options for building long-term cooperation with customers, as well as the problems of the skills gap in the textile industry.

Knitting production will also be discussed in all aspects from raw materials and equipment to advanced technologies and economic efficiency. Special attention will be paid to the use of AI for production tasks, customer service, support, sales forecasts, control and management of business tasks, etc.

The conference will also discuss issues of digital printing, foreign economic activity and risk reduction in international trade, building long-term cooperation with customers, contract manufacturing in Russia, and much more.

The 25^th International Exhibition for Equipment for the Textile and Garment Industry � INLEGMASH 2026 � has opened at Timiryazev Centre, Moscow. The 6^th edition of the INLEGMASH International Industry Conference will take place in the Vavilov Hall, Timiryazev Centre, from 16 through 18 March.

The Panel on What is Happening with Sublimation Printing took place at the office of EXPOCENTRE in Sokolniki with experts from�INLEGMASH.

The panel was organised by the show management to discuss industry related issues and support the image of INLEGMASH and its conference programme. The moderator was�Sergey Belokurov, an independent expert and blogger.

The panel participants spoke about several aspects of the situation on the sublimation printing market. Among the discussed topics were the current market conditions and the demand paradox; technological challenges and competition; the market structure, segments and materials; competition, economics and practice; and prospects and forecasts.

The discussion was attended by the heads and experts of Smart-T, Textile and Technology, Zenon, Russcom, Allart Service, Konica Minolta, DIMITEX, Mir Reklamy, and others.

In the outgoing 2025, INLEGMASH celebrated its 55th anniversary since the first edition in 1970. Conference programme

Key events

The 5th�INLEGMASH International Industry Conference�(11�13 March) will include thematic sessions where industry representatives will discuss the potential, trends and growth points of the Russian textile and garment industry, support measures, financial instruments and mechanisms to support the development of entrepreneurs in the textile industry, as well as the current challenges facing the textile industry and ways to minimise them. Of course, the experts will touch upon such important issues for the industry as risks and challenges for investors in the new economic realities and steps that start-up and existing businesses can take to attract investment. Other important issues for discussions will be digitalisation of production, implementation and optimisation of processes, as well as the introduction of new technologies to improve production efficiency.

A separate focus session will be dedicated to digital textile printing, where experts will analyse the Russian and global markets for digital textile printing, assess the opportunities and prospects of textile printer manufacturers, discuss the benefits of using AI in production, and share their experience of promotion on marketplaces.

INLEGMASH 2025 opens Sewing Territory

The Sewing Territory interactive business space continues to operate at Inlegmash 2025. This is a special area inside the exhibition. The programme is designed for business owners, brand founders and workshop owners, production managers and supervisors. It will be no less interesting for technologists and workshop masters, especially if their task is to choose the best equipment and start a line from scratch.

The Sewing Territory offers participants the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest sewing equipment, learn about the best ways to use it, and listen to expert lectures on the most pressing topics of the sewing industry. During the four days of the exhibition, 30 speakers � experts from the garment industry, marketing and finance � will make 45 reports, which raise practical issues of the industry and give specific recommendations.

In addition, there will be a series of masterclasses on the latest equipment. Participants will learn how to increase production speed without hiring additional staff, the principles of pattern machines, and embroidery techniques on embroidery machines.

Today\'s programme includes speeches by Evgeny Baranov, an expert on attracting state support for technological business of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations and the Skolkovo Innovation Centre, Aleksey Chadaev, Chair of the Investment and Finance Committee of the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for New Moscow (a structure of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs), Igor Kim, CEO of SportTex, Anton Maksimenko, owner of the Arkadia sewing factory, and many other experts.

Anniversary INLEGMASH 2025 brings together industry professionals

EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds have opened its doors to the 24 ^th International Exhibition for Equipment for the Textile and Garment Industry � Inlegmash 2025. This is the largest event dedicated to equipment for all stages of textile and garment production. This year the exhibition takes place within Russian Week of Textile Industry 2025 and celebrates its 55 ^th anniversary.

The exhibition is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Souzlegprom � the Russian Union of Textile Industry Enterprises, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This year, 170 companies from 12 countries occupy the area of 3,700 square metres. The participants demonstrate equipment and technologies for all stages of textile production from raw material processing to finished products. A significant part of exhibitors show their products in operation, which makes the exhibition especially attractive for industry professionals.

INLEGMASH 2025 is as usual accompanied by a rich conference programme. It will include the 5^th INLEGMASH International Industry Conference, where leading experts will discuss digitalisation of production, development of technical textiles, attraction of investments, state support measures, and other current issues of the industry.

The participants in the Forum on Technical Textiles: the Basis for Scientific and Technological Development of Russia will discuss the prospects of the sector\'s development, introduction of new technologies, and capabilities of equipment for production of technical textile products.

In addition, the Sewing Territory business space is open for the second year in a row. Brand owners, technologists and production managers can learn about the best practices of personnel management, productivity improvement, and equipment selection. There will be masterclasses on working with automated sewing systems, embroidery, and implementation of IT solutions in textile production.

The conference programme of Inlegmash 2025 opened with the Session on Russian Technical Textiles. Analysis, Development Prospects. It was moderated by Sergey Yukhin, Head of the Department of Design and Artistic Design of Textile Products at Kosygin State University of Russia. In his opening speech, he noted that technical textiles were the basis of scientific and technical development of Russia.

"The activities on technical textiles have been going on for quite a long period of time and have never stopped. I hope that research related to the production of new materials will continue. We should realise that this is the basis for the development of production enterprises of the textile industry," said Sergey Yukhin.

Presentations at the session were made by Mikhail Panin, representative of NIIgrafit � the Research Institute of Graphite-based Structural Materials, Dmitry Medvedev, First Deputy Director General at TSK Research Institute, Petr Shelkoshvein, Director General at Krasny Perekop, representatives of Kosygin State University of Russia, and other industry experts.
