Inlegmash 2020 exhibition presented at CCI of Ivanovo region

The presentation of the 20th international exhibition of equipment for textile manufacturing and processing, Inlegmash 2020 took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Ivanovo region on November, 13. The exhibition organisers met the industry companies of the Ivanovo region at the roundtable devoted to participation in Expocentre’s international exhibitions as a unique business opportunity to promote products in the domestic and foreign markets."

The business community of the Ivanovo region demonstrated keen interest in the presentation of the Inlegmash 2020 exhibition. The exhibition organisers gave a detailed description of the exhibition sections and profiles of exhibitors and visitors, discussed terms of participation, and touched upon the ways to prepare a showcase. The presentation also addressed the exhibition history. Nowadays, Inlegmash is the biggest industry show in the country; it presents textile industry equipment of domestic manufacturers and suppliers and leading foreign brands.

Deputy Head of the Ivanovo Region Export Support Centre Maxim Karyshev took the floor at the round table. He told the audience about the existing mechanisms of government support to small businesses participating in trade shows, developing their brands in Russia, exporting their products, and taking part in international shows.

After the presentation, the Inlegmash organisers had individual talks with representatives of regional companies who showed interest in the exhibition and its supporting program such as Mercury, Shuiskiye Sittsy, Volzhsky Tekstil, and others.

Earlier, Expocentre representatives held talks with CCI of the Ivanovo Region President Leonid Ivanov. They discussed the use of mechanisms of state support for small and medium businesses participating in exhibitions via the Chamber and regional centres for business (export) support. An agreement on coordinating the efforts was reached. The sides highlighted collaboration promoting active involvement of companies of the Ivanovo region in the 20th international exhibition of equipment for textile manufacturing and processing, Inlegmash 2020, held by Expocentre as part of Russian Textile Week 2020. The possibility of opening a regional exhibition under the auspices of the CCI of the Ivanovo region was discussed.

After the talks, the President of the CCI of the Ivanovo region signed an agreement on cooperation between the Chamber and Expocentre AO. The agreement envisages, in particular, a broad format of bilateral information exchange.
