Russian Textile Week’s conference programme covers a wide range of topics

Russian Textile Week and its INLEGMASH 2022 international exhibition to be held from March 14 to 17 at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds will feature an extensive conference programme. 

The events are devoted to discussing strategic tasks and developing measures aimed at forming a new industrial potential of the light industry, modernising and innovatively renewing the industry, supporting effective production projects, and the prospects of state support for the industry. 

The Panel on the Russian Textile and Garment Industry: Realities and Challenges of 2022 will open the conference programme. The panel is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and Souzlegprom. The participants include representatives of Souzlegprom, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regions of Russia, industry unions, as well as representatives from abroad and companies-exhibitors. 

The 2nd INLEGMASH International Industry Conference with participation of heads and technologists of the leading Russian enterprises, representatives of the world-famous brands, industry agencies and unions, financial community, funds, support institutes will also be held within the conference programme of Russian Textile Week 2022 and INLEGMASH 2022. 

The conference will discuss measures of state and non-state support for industry enterprises, and the practice of applying various industry support tools. The discussions will include presentations of new equipment and technologies, industrial garment complexes, and modern digital printing equipment. Industry experts will present Industry 4.0 and responsible production as a fundamental trend in the development of the textile and light industry in the 21st century, and share their experience of working with the Kosygin Russian State University, an engineering centre for digital production, and the use of digital twins in footwear production and in the fashion industry. 

The conference will also feature: “Open dialogue: Instruments of state support: practice in the application”, “Business dialogue: Building production facilities: a new look at equipment”, Discussion: Technical textile: at the intersection of industries, “Meeting: Designing textile industry products”, “New technology for garment manufacturers” and other events.
