Inlegmash 2014: Best Solutions for Textile Industry

Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted the 14th International Exhibition for Textile Manufacturing and Processing - Inlegmash.

The exhibition was organized by Expocentre ZAO jointly with German company Messe Dusseldorf GmbH and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industries (Souzlegprom) supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow City Government.

Inlegmash is held every other year. The tradeshow aim is to promote to the Russian market state-of-the-art equipment and emerging technology necessary for the development of Russia’s textile industry.

At this trade fair 146 companies from 18 countries put on display their latest accomplishments. Among the exhibitors there were such well known Russian and foreign companies as Lonati Spa, Ferrostaal, Textima, Oerlikon, Galan textile, Tallers Ratera, Picanol, Rieter, Mashteximpex, Mayak, Anditex and others. Germany, Turkey and China, recognized market leaders, arranged their national pavilions. Extensive international participation allowed to get a comprehensive overview of the global market of advanced machines, equipment and technology for the textile industry enterprises.

On the total exhibition space of 2,000 net sqm the exhibitors showcased equipment and technology for all stages of textile manufacturing: from fiber processing to final product packaging. Expocentre’s modern infrastructure made it possible to show the exhibited equipment in operation.

The key event of the Inlegmash 2014 programme, the 1st International Industry Forum on the Russian Textile Industry: the Present and the Future – Legpromforum 2014, generated a great interest among the industry experts. The Forum participants discussed strategic targets of the industry development and measures aimed at updating of Russia’s textile industry.

The Forum was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industries, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The Forum organizing committee was headed by President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Yevtukhov.

Andrey Razbrodin, the President of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industries, said that “the first in modern Russian history forum for the light industry with large scale international participation is to be a venue for professional and effective communication. It is to bring participants good results and useful contacts, new opportunities and extension of activities and cooperation”.
