The 17th edition of the Inlegmash International Exhibition for Textile Manufacturing and Processing

Russian and foreign specialists in the textile industry and textile engineering met at the most sought-after trade show in Russia to showcase the latest achievements and innovative solutions in the industry. Inlegmash promotes cooperation between manufacturers, suppliers and customers from different sectors.

Opening Ceremony Guests

The participants in the opening ceremony were Director Brand Management Technical Textiles & Textile Processing, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition Michael Jänecke, Managing Director of the Garment and Leather Technology Association within the Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) Elgar Straub, Chairman of State Duma Committee on Education and Science Vyacheslav Nikonov, President of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry Andrey Razbrodin, and other officials.

Show Highlights

Inlegmash 2017 was held within the Russian Textile Week organized by Expocentre AO and Souzlegprom – the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry Enterprises, and supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry Trade, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Russian Civic Chamber

The Week also included the 18th edition of the CJF International Exhibition for Child and Junior Fashion. Spring, the 3rd edition of the Interfabric International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials, the 9th edition of the Techtextil Russia International Exhibition for Technical Textiles, Nonwovens and Protective Clothing, and the 4th edition of the Legpromforum International Textile Industry Forum. More than 2,000 companies from 17 countries occupied 25,000 sq m of Expocentre Fairgrounds.  Visitor attendance amounted to more than 20,000 professionals.

Key Associated Events

The 4th edition of the Legpromforum International Textile Industry Forum is a key event of the Russian Textile Week. It included a series of conferences, round table discussions and workshops covering the main issues of the Russian textile industry. For more information please go here.

The Forum featured:

  • Round table on New Technologies and Equipment for Textile Industry devoted to the possibilities of the textile market development, upgrade of the sector and creation of competitive production. For more information please go here.
  • The 2nd international research and practice symposium on Science - Textile Manufacture: Latest Industry Research in the Field of Technical Textiles and Their Applications. The next 18th edition of the Inlegmash International Exhibition is to run from February 19 through 21, 2018 at Expocentre Fairgrounds.
